Located in Roanoke, a charming, historic rural community in northeast Indiana (15 minutes from Ft. Wayne, 1.5 hours north of Indianapolis and 3 hours east of Chicago), Joseph Decuis is the showcase for local farm raised food, and is a gourmet experience to remember.

The menu features seasonal dishes with ingredients raised on our farm (and other like minded local farms), creatively and artfully prepared by our Chefs. The heart of the restaurant is housed in an old bank building (the vaults are now wine cellars) where youll feel as though youve stepped back in time to a simpler way of life where time around the table meant something. Youll enjoy a top-quality meal in quiet, comfortable surroundings with outstanding hospitality.


Everyone needs a good nights sleep after a long day of work (or play.) Our comfortable bed & breakfast provides restoration and respite from the hurried pace. A short walk from the restaurant, this quiet residence is the perfect destination for an overnight stay in Roanoke after a wonderful dinner with us.

While a perfect romantic getaway location for two, the Inn can also be booked for celebrating with family or friends, or for special events.

The Inn is an exquisite example of turn-of-the-century architecture with a sprawling front porch, hardwood floors, intricate moldings, and beautiful antique furnishings throughout. The home, built in 1912 by one of the regions wealthiest businessmen, has been painstakingly restored and updated with modern conveniences. A delightful breakfast is served between 8 a.m. and 9 a.m. on weekends and 7 a.m. and 8 a.m. on weekdays. Self-serve coffee is available earlier.
